A unique and intriguing wine with Viognier characteristics of pear, ripe golden apples and underlying floral fragrances beautifully complemented by mandarine orange aromas and a touch of peach blossom from Grenache Blanc. Very attractive sweet fruit on the palate, the texture is creamy without being too full, and the lime acidity streaks through the finish beautifully. Whole bunch pressing gently extracts the juice which after fermentation is allowed to mature in French oak barrels for a period of 6 months.
Country Of Origin: South Africa

60/40 blend of the two grapes, 10% aged in older barrels. Said to be the oldest Viognier in South Africa.
