Moët Ice Impérial Rosé, is the first and only rosé champagne especially created to be enjoyed on ice. A new champagne tasting experience that brings together pleasure, freshness and the free spirit of summer time.  Described by the Champagne house as “fresh and vibrant when served over ice and sure to be the drink of the summer season”, this expression has been created as a partner to its Ice Impérial Blanc NV.

Blended by Moët’s Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez, Ice Imperial Rosé NV comprises a blend of 45 to 55% Pinot Noir, of which 10% is red wine, 35 to 45% of Meunier, of which 10% is red wine, and 5 to 10% Chardonnay. Around 20 to 30% of this blend is made up of selected reserve wines.

Vivid pink in colour with golden highlights, it has a vibrant, fruity bouquet with mainly scents of fragrant red berries and cherries: Morello cherry, lingonberry and cranberry and nuances of juicy summer fruits: fig and nectarine with an appetizing note of grenadine.

The palate is luscious combining sweetness and firmness. The sweetness reminiscent of berries disperses and becomes lighter to give a harmonious balance of fruitiness and freshness followed by a refreshing finish with a deliciously bittersweet note of pink grapefruit.

Moët has been associated with the sparkle of success and glamour ever since the House was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët. These are the values that the House share and the values that inspired the founder’s grandson Jean-Remy Moët to share the champagne with the world. A man with a true spirit of achievement and leadership, it is to him we owe our reputation as the world’s most loved champagne. The quality grapes grown on the most extensive estates in the region. Of the 1,150 hectares of rich chalk soil, 50% are Grand Crus, and 25% are Premiers Crus.

With vineyards in Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne, Sézanne and Aube , the House has access to approximately 200 of the 323 crus in the region, including a total of 17 grands crus and 32 of the 44 premiers crus. This wide-ranging diversity of fruits and vineyards ensures the optimum selection of grapes, enabling them to maintain the constancy of Moët Impérial and the originality of Grand Vintage.
