70% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier - Excellent tasting Champagne that is not widely available. An amber golden yellow colour. An expressive nose of ripe grapes. Full and rich on the palate, with hints of jam, dried fruit, pear, quince and red berries. Very persistent aromas. Made in only limited quantities! Fantastic looking bottle with Pewter labels!

The House is still an independent family enterprise with annual sales of a million bottles, 60 % of which are exported to over 70 countries.

Still owned by the Cattier family in the heart of the ancient Champagne region, Champagne Cattier is situated in the charming village of Chigny-les-Roses in the Montagne de Reims heart of the Champagne region, between Reims and Epernay.  The family heritage is evident when visiting the vineyards and cellars of the winery where you can find the current owner, Jean Jacques Cattier strolling the corridoors. The family has owned the vineyards since 1763, from 1918 it began making its own champagnes and selling them under the family name. Covering over 30 hectares of the prestigious Montagne de Reims terroir, their vineyards are mainly classified as Premier Cru and in 1951, they acquired one of Champagne's rarest 'Clos', the Clos du Moulin parcel, which produces one of the oldest prestige champagne wines.

The vines are grown using responsible viticultural methods in order to preserve the environment and the terroir. Champagne Cattier’s cellars are among the deepest in Champagne (30 metres), providing ideal conditions for ageing with a low, constant temperature. They have been dug out on 3 floors, using 3 architectural styles: Renaissance, Romanesque and Gothic.

In 2006, Cattier started to sell the first bottles of the premium Armand de Brignac range.
