If you have ever been to a wedding or party and been served warm white wines or champagnes, then you’ll know there is nothing worse! Chilling down drinks at these types of events without going all out and hiring fridges is a major problem. That is why we offer our sturdy ‘chiller bins’ to all our customers as an easy solution to this problem.

All you need to add is a mixture of ice and water – just like a normal ice bucket, but on a slightly larger scale! Each bin will hold 12 bottles of wine or champagne comfortably, and if you are filling them with beer or soft drinks, then you’ll be able to fit a lot more. The bins come with heavy-duty carry handles too, so moving your stock around is no problem either. For larger events, we do suggest using more than one bin so you can keep different drinks separate, which makes serving them a lot easier!

All we ask from you is a £10 deposit per bin, to cover the costs if any damage does occur in the duration of the hire. This deposit will be fully refunded when the bin is returned to us in the same condition as it left.

ICE

Ice is a huge problem, especially in the summer when, as soon as we have a nice spell of weather, the supermarket shelves are bare and you will struggle to buy ice in bulk anywhere. It’s always a nice touch to have ice in your drinks, and really makes the difference especially in a summer Pimms!

At Saxtys Wines, we have the facility at our Sister company, Saxtys, to be able to supply you with bags of ice for your party or event, and even supply the ice to fill your chiller bins. Our ice is only £1.95 a bag, and for the bins you will need approximately 5 bags.
