Jack Daniels Master Distillers No.3 is the third in the Master Distillers collectors set of 6 bottles. That is, one for every distiller the Jack Daniel's distillery has had in their history. Only seven men have served as Master Distiller at the Jack Daniel's distillery. This special bottling celebrates Mr. Lem Tolley, who held the position of Master Distiller between 1941 and 1964.

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey is made at Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee perfected by Jack Daniel in 1866. Using pure cave spring water and a unique, charcoal mellowing process, and aging in their own handcrafted barrels is what gives Jack Daniel's its distinctive character.

Their "Tennessee Sippin' Whiskey" is ready only when their tasters say it is...

Jack Daniel's is a brand of Tennessee whiskey and the top selling American whiskey in the world. It is produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee, by the Jack Daniel Distillery, which has been owned by the Brown-Forman Corporation since 1956. Despite being the location of a major operational distillery, Jack Daniel's home county of Moore is a dry county, so the product is not available for consumption at stores or restaurants within the county.

The product meets the regulatory criteria for classification as a straight bourbon, though the company disavows this classification and markets it simply as Tennessee whiskey rather than as Tennessee bourbon due to the process of charcoal mellowing. As defined in the North American Free Trade Agreement, Tennessee Whiskey is classified as a straight bourbon authorized to be produced in the state of Tennessee.
