The Whitley family has a long tradition of distilling high quality liquids. Their clean, crisp, 100% potato vodka, has been blended with the sweet fresh taste of British Rhubarb, inspired by the flavours of English gardens and hedgerows.

The resulting liquid has a delightfully smooth mouthfeel and delicate sweet bouquet reminiscent of summer and fresh picked rhubarb. The epitome of a Great British summer in a bottle, with rhubarb coating the palate with a exceptional balance of sweetness and hint of fresh garden vegetables with a hint of basil on the finish.

JJ Whitley is a new range of spirits from drinks manufacturer Halewood International. The range is said to be inspired by the British countryside, and is named after John James Whitley, the first of the Whitley family to start distilling in 1762 – his Whitley Neill gin has been part of Halewood’s portfolio since 2009.

This new and exciting spirit group follows a tradition born of eight generations of distillers proud to use high-quality ingredients and flavours from around the world. These new spirits are distilled to 38.6% in homage to Prof. Mendeleev, father of chemistry, who recommended to the Tsar that alcohol and water molecules combine perfectly at 38.6% abv.

The premium bottle, the heritage and authenticity are all premium cues that make JJ Whitley a superior choice. Each product focuses on a seasonal crop and associated special ingredients. Distilled by Johnny Neill, a direct descendent of Thomas Greenall and the last in a long line of distillers, Whitley Neill brings together 8 generations of expertise and a life-long love of adventure.
