Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the pinnacle of Blended Scotch Whisky making from Johnnie Walker. Only 1 out 10,000 casks is deemed to be of sufficient character to deliver its remarkably smooth signature taste, and these casks are drawn from the largest reserves of whisky in the world. Blue Label is a big flavoured whisky that reflects the Walker belief that neither whisky age alone, nor whisky from a single location, is enough to achieve the creation of a masterpiece.

On the nose it is mellow, rounded, with a dry smokiness, mixed with raisin sweetness.

In the mouth, taste hazelnuts, honey, rose petals, sherry and oranges, followed by kumquats, wispy aromatic smoke, sandalwood, tobacco, and dark chocolate followed by a rich and uniquely long finish with a satisfying finish of smoke and pepper, ending with a glorious touch of spice.

A legendary blend that doesn't compromise.

An extraordinary whisky for extraordinary occasions.

Only sublime, rare whiskies at the pinnacle of perfection are used in the blending of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, with only 1 in 10,000 casks containing whisky deemed of a high enough standard to deliver its remarkably smooth signature taste. Each is hand selected by the Johnnie Walker Master Blender himself, part of an unbroken lineage of Master Blenders stretching back over 190 years.  He uses his decades of experience to select some of the rarest casks from the Johnnie Walker reserves for their quality, character and flavour to create the powerful, complex, smooth character of Blue Label. it is the ultimate expression of whisky making today and an remarkable achievement for the modern era.

The story of Johnnie Walker begins with the man who gave his name to the brand. In 1819 most grocers stocked a line of single malts, but John wanted to create something more consistent. With a natural gift for business, John started blending them together in his grocery shop to create his own whisky that tasted just as good every time.  As the business passed from father to son and then grandson, the unique blends created by the Walkers combined with their skill and flair for business enabled the brand to flourish around the world.  With the introduction of the famous square bottle to reduce breakages and the distinctive label, slanted at precisely 24 degrees, the whisky blends were able to stand out even further from the crowd.

Today, Johnnie Walker is the biggest whisky brand in the world - See more at:
