Described as the most extravagant and graceful Perrier-Jout wine of the Belle Epoque Collection by Cellar Master Herv Deschamps who wanted to pay tribute to the beauty of Autumn; Combining autumns engaging and voluptuous qualities with its vitality, he has translated such subtle harmony into this cuve, a wine that conveys every single facet of a season as diverse as it is mesmerising.

The pink tone of the champagne is something that captures your attention instantly along with the various notes of berries, orange, sour cherry, spice and cream on the nose however the sharp bite of the after-taste might just be the most memorable element. The richness of the 2005 vintage inspired me to create this cuve in tribute to autumns allure and vitality as a way of savouring the beauty of an ephemeral season Herv Deschamps.

Founded in Epernay in 1811, the house of Perrier-Jouët is known the world over for its high quality champagne and its prestigious vineyard. A Grande Marque House, world famous for making wines with a unique signature; floral, stylish and diamond-cut. This clean cut, flavoursome Champagne is achieved using a high proportion of Chardonnay in the blend from their vineyards on the Cote des Blancs.

This great house of craftmanship was founded by a couple who fell in love with the vineyards of Champagne and each other. It was in 1811 that Pierre-Nicolas Perrier married Adèle Jouët, thus marking the genesis of the House of Perrier-Jouët and together creating the world's most passionate Champagne.

Characterised from the outset by its uncompromising standards, the House was a pioneer in the field of traceability and the fight against counterfeiting. After the fashion of the great Champagne Houses, Perrier-Jouët was the first to display the year of the vintage on its bottles.

A number of wines from remarkable years have been selected and consigned to the silence of the cellars. And while each of these vintages has a distinctive character all of its own, they all, without exception, illustrate the excellence of the Perrier-Jouët vineyards.

This quest for perfection guarantees Perrier-Jouët its rightful place at the most prestigious tables. Not to mention the royal courts of Napoleon III or Queen Victoria. Since Princess Grace of Monaco declared the bottle with the iconic anemone to be her favourite champagne, Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque has accompanied the Rose Ball for many years.

The hand painted anemone signature design on the Belle Epoque bottle and flutes was created by master glassmaker Émile Gallé in 1902. A beautifully romantic design, at Perrier-Jouët Champagne they believe there is nothing quite as romantic as a fine Champagne shared with the one you love.
